Ad hoc List Report

 Purpose

When you select ad hoc list report from the menu, you will go to a screen where you set up an ad hoc report.  A list report will produce a table with a column for each item that you select to display, much like a spreadsheet.

Selecting this option will return a combination of the two previous options. It will return all patients active within your organization or residing within the county displayed.  This option is only available to county providers.

      • Click the Add button to move the item the right-hand list of items to be displayed on the report.

Command Button

Description

Adds selected item from the first list of items to be displayed to the second list of items to be displayed on the report.

Removes selected item from the second list of items to be displayed to the first list of items to be displayed on the report.

Removes all items from the second list of items to be displayed to the first list of items to be displayed on the report.

      • Add sorting to the report.

        • Select an Item from the Item to sort on pick list.

        • Select a radio button to select the sort order as described below.

Sort Order

Description

First-to-Last

Sorts the Item based on the following sort order. (spaces, special characters (#,',"), uppercase A-Z, lowercase a-z

Last-to-First

Sorts the Item based on the following sort order. (lowercase z-a, uppercase Z-A, special characters (",',#), spaces)

        • Enter Comparison Criteria

          • Entering Comparison Criteria depends on the Comparison that is selected and the Item that is selected to filter on.

          • If the Item that is selected to filter on has a pick list to select from the Value to compare to pick list will display options to select.

          • If the Item that is selected to filter on does not have a pick list to select from and needs values to be entered into a text box the text box next to the Value to compare pick list will be enabled to enter values in.

          • If the Between comparison is selected the and pick list will be enabled to be selected from or the text box will be enabled to enter values in.

        • Click the Add/Save Edit button to add the filter to the Selected Filters text box.

        • Repeat the filter process to add additional filters if needed.

      • Advanced filtering patient population for the report.

        • Selected Filters Section.

          • The Selected Filters Section allows for more advanced querying described below.

            • Upon adding multiple filters adds the filters as having both conditions to be met in order for information be returned.

              • Selecting a single filter in the Selected Filters section allows the user to be able to click the Edit or Remove buttons.

                • Clicking the Edit command button with a single filter selected in the Selected Filters section will allow the user to edit the filter criteria for the selected filter.

                • Clicking the Remove command button with a single filter selected in the Selected Filters section will remove the selected filter.

              • Selecting a Logical And or OR in the Selected Filters section allows the user to be able to click the And/Or button.

                • Clicking the And/Or button with a Logical And or OR selected in the Selected Filters section will allow the user to change the AND to an OR or an OR to an AND.

              • Selecting multiple filters in the Selected Filters section allows the user to be able to click the Group or UnGroup buttons.

                • Clicking the Group button with multiple filters selected in the Selected Filters section allows the user to group the selected filters into one logical statement.

                • Clicking the UnGroup button with multiple filters selected in the Selected Filters section allows the user to ungroup the selected filters into seperate logical statements.

Command Button

Description

Allows users to edit the selected filter.

Removes selected filter from the Selected Filter text box.

Changes the logical operator selected from AND to OR or from OR to AND.

Groups together multiple filters selected into one logical statement.

Ungroups multiple filters selected into seperate logical statements.

Command Button

Description

Generates the Ad Hoc List Report and displays the Ad hoc Report Results screen.

Returns the user to the previous page.
