Ad hoc Count Report

Purpose

When you select ad hoc count report from the menu, you will go to a screen where you set up the report. A count report will produce a table with a column for each item that you select, much like a spreadsheet.

Functionality

What patient population would you like to use section- Displays options for certain organizations being able to run the ad hoc count report on other patients and is used to determine the initial patient base to use for the ad hoc report.

Would you like to count Patients or Immunizations section- Allows the user to select how the totals are counted for the Ad Hoc Report.

Patients	Selecting this option will count patients.
Immunizations	Selecting this option will count immunizations.

What items would you like to use to group the counts on the report section- Displays items that can be grouped on the Ad Hoc count report for selection to appear on the report.

	Owning Organization	Indicates the Owning Organization for the vaccination administered.
	Source of Last Update	Source of Last Update for the vaccination administered.
	Trade Name	Trade Name of the vaccination administered.
	Vaccine Group	Vaccine Group of vaccination that was administered.
Other Patient Items	Active Status	Patient's Active Status.
	County of Birth	Patient's County of Birth.
	County of Residence	Patient's County of Residence.
	Gender	Patient's Gender.
	Language Preference	Patient's Language Preference.
	Mother's HBsAG Status	Patient's Mother's HBsAg Status.
	Patient ID	Patient's ID.

1. - Click the Add button to add the item to the selected list of grouped items in the second list of items.

- Remove an Item to group by
- - Select an Item from the second list of items listed that is to be removed.
  - Click the Remove button to remove the item from the selected list of displayed items to the first list of items.

- Remove all Items to group by
- - Click the Remove All button to remove all items from the selected list of displayed items to the first list of items.

1. 1. - Select an option from the Comparison pick list as described below. All Comparisons are not available to be selected for all Items in the Item to filter on list.

EQUALS	Item to filter on is equal to the Value to compare to entered.
NOT EQUAL TO	Item to filter on is not equal to the Value to compare to entered.
BEFORE	Item to filter on is before the Value to be compare to entered.
AFTER	Item to filter on is after the Value to be compared to entered.
BETWEEN	Item to filter on is between two Values to be compared to entered.
IS	Item to filter on is the Value to be compared to entered.
IS NOT	Item to filter on is not the Value to be compared to entered.
BEGINS WITH	Item to filter on begins with the Value to be compared to entered.
DOES NOT BEGIN WITH	Item to filter on does not begin with the Value to be compared to entered.

1. 1. - Enter Comparison Criteria
    - - Entering Comparison Criteria depends on the Comparison that is selected and the Item that is selected to filter on.
      - If the Item that is selected to filter on has a pick list to select from the Value to compare to pick list will display options to select.
      - If the Item that is selected to filter on does not have a pick list to select from and needs values to be entered into a text box the text box next to the Value to compare pick list will be enabled to enter values in.
      - If the Between comparison is selected the and pick list will be enabled to be selected from or the text box will be enabled to enter values in.
    - Click the Add/Save Edit button to add the filter to the Selected Filters text box.
    - Repeat the filter process to add additional filters if needed.

  - - Selected Filters Section.
    - - The Selected Filters Section allows for more advanced querying described below.
      - Upon adding multiple filters adds the filters as having both conditions to be met in order for information be returned.
        
        Selecting a single filter in the Selected Filters section allows the user to be able to click the Edit or Remove buttons.
        
        Clicking the Edit command button with a single filter selected in the Selected Filters section will allow the user to edit the filter criteria for the selected filter.
        
        Clicking the Remove command button with a single filter selected in the Selected Filters section will remove the selected filter.
        
        Selecting a Logical And or OR in the Selected Filters section allows the user to be able to click the And/Or button.
        
        Clicking the And/Or button with a Logical And or OR selected in the Selected Filters section will allow the user to change the AND to an OR or an OR to an AND.
        
        Selecting multiple filters in the Selected Filters section allows the user to be able to click the Group or UnGroup buttons.
        
        Clicking the Group button with multiple filters selected in the Selected Filters section allows the user to group the selected filters into one logical statement.
        
        Clicking the UnGroup button with multiple filters selected in the Selected Filters section allows the user to ungroup the selected filters into seperate logical statements.

- Command Button Functionality

Command Button	Description
	Allows users to edit the selected filter.
	Removes selected filter from the Selected Filter text box.
	Changes the logical operator selected from AND to OR or from OR to AND.
	Groups together multiple filters selected into one logical statement.
	Ungroups multiple filters selected into seperate logical statements.

Generate Report section- Describes the Generate and Cancel buttons.

	Returns the user to the previous page.
